Wales have unveiled their kits for the World Cup in Japan – with an alternate jersey that is certainly different to the norm.

While the home shirt was always going to be red, the alternate jersey moved away from dark grey and into new territory with a dark shade of green.

It was a bold choice that could have gone either way in terms of fan reaction, but just how have supporters taken to the new kits?

On the whole, it was quite a positive reaction…

Not everyone was delighted…

Claire Davies, Facebook: “First shirt that I won’t be rushing out to buy for my boy.”

Lee Paul, Facebook: “The red kit I like, the green I’m not fussed on.”

Dai Thomas, Facebook: “Not very inspiring, would have liked to have seen something similar to The Aussie alternate kit with a hint of Dragon or Celtic cross in it.”

But many were delighted with the green alternate…

Although one Irishman thought it looked a little familiar…
