All Blacks coach Ian Foster has revealed his team for the third Bledisloe Cup test against the Wallabies in Sydney on Saturday.

There are no changes in the All Blacks’ backs, with Jordie Barrett retaining his spot on the right wing, but there are three changes to the forwards and three on the bench.

Blues No 8 Hoskins Sotutu has been promoted to start for the first time with Ardie Savea on paternity leave and loose forward Dalton Papalii is elevated to the bench.

Sam Whitelock is back from concussion at lock after missing the second Bledisloe test, so rookie Tupou Vaa’i drops out, and Karl Tu’inukuafe has replaced Joe Moody (concussion) as starting loosehead prop.

Midfielder Ngani Laumape’s return from a broken arm forces Damian McKenzie out of the 23.

Rookie prop Tyrel Lomax returns to the bench with tighthead Nepo Laulala also on paternity leave.

All Blacks: Beauden Barrett, Jordie Barrett, Anton Lienert-Brown, Jack Goodhue, Caleb Clarke, Richie Mo’unga, Aaron Smith; Hoskins Sotutu, Sam Cane (c), Shannon Frizell, Sam Whitelock, Patrick Tuipulotu, Ofa Tuungafasi, Dane Coles, Karl Tu’inukuafe.
